WHAT KIND OF IMAGES CAN YOU PUT ON YOUR PRODUCTS?
We can work with photos, illustrations, artwork, graphic designs, and more!
HOW DO I UPLOAD MY PHOTO FOR A CUSTOM ORDER?
There is a file upload area on the Ordering Page. You can upload up to 10 files (25MB max total).
WHAT FILE FORMATS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept .JPG | .JPEG | .PNG | .HEIC | WEBP files.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY IMAGE IS HIGH ENOUGH RESOLUTION FOR PRODUCTION?
If we are creating a custom piece for you, we will review your image to make sure it is suitable for the product you've chosen. If the image resolution or quality isn't high enough, we'll work with you to find a higher-quality version or discuss other product options that may work better. If you are uploading photos from your smartphone, select the highest-quality or original-resolution version available (usually the option in MB). If you have questions, contact us and we can assist you.
CAN YOU MAKE MY IMAGE LOOK BETTER?
For every personalized or custom order, we include 15 minutes of FREE photo editing/enhancement. Let us work our magic on your photo to make it really shine! We can also add custom text over your photo if desired. If additional time is needed to customize your order further, additional fees may be incurred, which we will discuss with you.
WHAT ARE YOUR SLATES MADE OF?
Our photo slates are made from hard rock which is sturdy and resistant to cracks, scratches, and fading. Because every slate is a natural material, variations in color, texture, markings, and edge shape are part of what makes each piece unique.
DO YOU PROVIDE A PROOF BEFORE PRODUCTION?
We'll send a PDF proof by email within two business days of receiving your payment, image file(s), and any related instructions. Proofs must be approved via email before production begins. Please review your proofs carefully, including names, dates, spelling, images, and other details. We are not responsible for any errors on your part. Once a proof has been approved, production will begin.
WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?
We will respond to online orders within one business day. Production times vary by product, but most items are completed within 2–3 business days after proof approval. Shipping times vary depending on the delivery method you choose. We'll keep you updated on your project timeline via email.
DO YOU OFFER RUSH PRODUCTION/SHIPPING?
Need your order in a hurry? Let us know! We'll do our best to accommodate rush orders whenever possible.
HOW DO YOU SHIP YOUR PRODUCTS?
We ship anywhere in the United States with tracking via USPS.
HOW DO YOU HANDLE ORDERS THAT ARE A GIFT FOR SOMEONE ELSE?
Each custom order is beautifully packaged and includes a personal hand-written note. We can let the recipient know the order is being sent by you if requested.
IF I LIVE LOCALLY, CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER?
Local pickup is available in Centennial, CO 80015.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We currently accept cash and Venmo. Credit card payments will be available soon. Our Venmo handle is @doubletakedesignsstudio (click here for a QR code you can scan with your phone and Venmo app). When placing a Venmo order, be sure to reference your name/order information in the notes.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE A PROBLEM WITH MY ORDER?
If you have a production or quality issue with your order, please email us at Support@DoubleTakeDesigns.shop.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/REFUND POLICY?
Because our products are handmade and many are personalized or custom-made specifically for each customer, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or provide refunds for changes of mind, incorrect product selections or customer-provided information that was approved as part of the order. If your order arrives with a production error, incorrect personalization caused by Double Take Designs, or another issue resulting from an error on our part, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order so we can work with you to make it right. We want you to love what we create for you, and we will always do our best to resolve any issue that is the result of an error on our part.
NOTE: Because our photo slates are a natural material, variations in color, texture, markings, and edge shape are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects. Double Take Designs is not responsible for natural variations in the slate products we purchase from our manufacturers.
